Parallax has now formed UTS Global, LLC to acquire and operate the UTS business. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The UTS operating system is a native System V implementation of UNIX® for the 390 mainframe and compatible market. UTS Release 4.4 is a large scale, open system computing platform, targeting mission-critical applications in the telecommunication, government, manufacturing, and e-commerce markets.
