Tape Services Suite Version 3 New Release - UTS Global announces an enhanced version of our browser based Backup and Restore product, Tape Services Suite (TSS) V3.  TSS supports SuSE/RedHat Linux (on S390, z/series and Intel), Solaris and AIX. Via Samba, it can also backup Windows files and directories.
 

June 04, 2004:
UTS45 for Telcordia New Releases - UTS45.01.10, released in May 2004, has been fully tested by Telcordia with their newly released applications, FOMS 9.5 and MARCH 16.0.3. Telcordia and UTS Global continue their long standing relationship that provides mission-critical applications to the domestic Telco industry.

UTS Global enters partnership with Mainline - UTS Global announces strategic alliance with Mainline Information Systems, IBM's largest Business Partner in the United States.
 

March 15, 2004:
UTS Global announces enhanced functionality in support of the Oracle 9i database. The TSS Oracle backup and restore product offers the same reliability and data protection services as the UTS Global core offerings, and provides customers with further capability in the area of managing mission critical information.
 

Febuary 23, 2004:
UTS Global announces the availability of its Tape Services Suite on Debian GNU/Linux. This extension beyond UTS Global's existing offerings on SuSE and RedHat demonstrates an ongoing commitment to the Linux environment.
 

December 01, 2003:

November 20, 2003:
UTS Global announces its acceptance into StorageTek’s TekAlliance Partner Program. UTS Global will begin the process of submitting an interoperability test plan to StorageTek for its tape silo product offerings. Once testing is complete and approved by StorageTek, the interoperability test results will be available through StorageTek’s interoperability support matrix.
 

October 30, 2003:
UTS Global announces a new product offering in support of IBM’s DB2 database for backup and restore purposes. The DB2 product offers the same reliability and data protection services as its core offerings; however, this product provides customers with further capability in the area of managing mission critical information.
 

October 15, 2003:
UTS Global announces the addition of the Linux/Intel platform to its Distributed Tape Services (DTS) client capabilities that work in conjunction with its Linux based mainframe server adding another supported hardware environment to its data protection and storage management capabilities.
